Expanding Dialysis Treatment Capacity in Somaliland
Challenge
A regional healthcare provider in Somaliland needed to add dialysis capacity across 3 facilities. Limited local supply of dialysis machines and consumables was delaying expansion. 4iTrading leveraged its authorized distribution relationship with Nipro to source dialysis machines and consumables. We coordinated factory-to-facility logistics including customs clearance and last-mile delivery to 3 hospital sites across 2 regions. A supply continuity plan was established with quarterly restocking schedules.
Result
All 3 facilities operational within 4 months of initial equipment delivery. The provider now serves over 200 dialysis patients per week across the expanded network. 4iTrading continues managing restocking with 98% on-time delivery performance.
Gas Reticulation System — From Planning to Operation
Challenge
A construction company identified the need for gas reticulation system for their new premium villa projects in Hargeisa. They needed a partner to support from planning, system design, sourcing, and operational setup. The project required coordination across engineering, equipment manufacturing, and local regulatory requirements.
Solution
4iTrading coordinated with Sohum Autogas and independent engineering consultants to develop a phased implementation plan. A new 200-bed hospital under construction in East Africa needed a complete surgical product inventory — instruments, consumables, and specialized equipment — before opening. Multiple manufacturers with different lead times had to converge on a single delivery deadline.
Solution
4iTrading developed a consolidated procurement plan spanning Meril, Allengers, and Hemanth Surgicals. We managed supplier coordination, quality documentation, and consolidated shipping. A staged delivery approach ensured operating room essentials arrived first.
Result
Full surgical inventory delivered 3 weeks before hospital opening. Hospital procurement reported 60% reduction in administrative workload compared to multi-supplier management. Quarterly resupply program established.
